It was all a shambles, when we turned up hotel was overbooked and we were told room had been cancelled, indicating hotels by day had been informed but we had not. Manager then found a room but told us no payment made by hotels by day so we had to pay the full amount again to hotel. Hotels by day rang and apologised, saying they had now paid hotel and hotel would reimburse our additional payment. Hotel rooms and facilities were great, but this experience has put me off trusting hotelsbyday with another booking

I prepaid for a 9 AM- 4 PM stay but there were no rooms available till 11 AM. Hotelsbyday shouldn’t have posted a schedule that they couldn’t guarantee. I reserved and prepaid for two rooms and didn’t get to use two hours of what I had paid for. I give an extra star bec the hotel was beautiful.
