The concept of HotelsByDay is simple: connect businesspeople and travelers needing a hotel room during the day with luxury hotels in convenient locations at a fraction of what an overnight stay would cost. To-date, we’ve successfully booked over 38,000 hours worth of day stays, have nearly 200 hotels to choose from, and are in 19 cities. But none of that excites us as much as the announcement of our first three international cities and their respective hotels. That’s right, HotelsByDay users can now secure a day stay room in London, Vancouver and Weisbaden, Germany!

Let’s get a little more familiar with each of these new arrivals to the HotelsByDay family, shall we?

Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow | London, England, United Kingdom

Since our inception, we’ve always tried to focus on four and five star hotels that offer convenient locations for our busy travelers to get in, out and on with their schedule. The Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow is no exception, located just 10 minutes from Terminals 1-3 at London Heathrow Airport.

Business travelers will be right at home with guest service specialized on international business and other clientele of high taste. Take advantage of the Hoppa Shuttle that runs every 15 minutes, connecting you to marquee draws like the Royal Ascot, Eton and the Windsor Castle. Back at the hotel, relax with an on-site health spa offering a gym, dance studio and beauty treatment services. With guest rooms featuring traditional mahogany furniture, plush mattresses and complimentary Internet access, the Radisson Blu Edwardian is a sure bet to make your day stay worthwhile.

Pacific Gateway Hotel at Vancouver Airport | Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

The moment you step foot in the Pacific Gateway Hotel, you’ll be charmed by the personalized service and stylish accommodations throughout. Located just three minutes from Vancouver International Airport, the Gateway Hotel provides the perfect balance of beauty, convenience and entertainment. Look out your window to find luxury yachts in the marina, a wealth of on-site gardens and a coastal mountain backdrop. Check out Vancouver’s historic Gastown for stimulating nightlife and an assortment of independent businesses, or take the SkyTrain from the airport to Vancouver’s city center and harbor. But at the least make sure to hit Vancouver Lookout, offering a 360-degree panoramic view by way of a glass elevator overlooking the Pacific Ocean, city skyline, and the North Shore Mountains.

Radisson Blu Schwarzer Bock Hotel | Weisbaden, Hesse, Germany

Travelers seeking lodging at a historic hotel centrally located to major attractions and well connected to various forms of public transportation will be pleased with the Radisson Blu Schwarzer Bock Hotel. Enjoy the contemporary-designed rooms, which offer modern amenities like high-speed, wireless Internet, a mini bar, safe, television, air conditioning, and marble bathrooms.

Or head down to the spa for supreme relaxation time. The Blu Schwarzer Bock Hotel is a short walk away to Weisbaden’s city center, the Kurhaus Casino and shopping center, as well as the famous Wilhelmstrasse. Those still yearning for exploration can check out the Rhein-Main-Hallen Congress Center, Biebrich Palace, the Rheingau vineyards and Frankfurt Trade Fairground by a short train ride. When it’s time to leave, access the Frankfurt International Airport in 30 minutes or walk to the nearby train station to continue your adventures throughout Germany!

And We’re Just Getting Started
Of course, the journey has only begun. Our goal is to eventually bring the “stay for the day” concept to luxury hotels in every major city. Check back with us often to see new hotels and locations we add!
