If you don’t have a trip to the UK coming up, you should. According to a study by the Economist Intelligence Unit — London, and British cities as a whole, have dropped to their most affordable levels internationally since the 1990s.
We’re not thrilled this affordability stems from the continued aftermath of the Brexit vote, but it does interestingly align with a recent development at HotelsByDay.
We’ve added 38 new London day use hotels to bump our overall offering above 50! This means a wider selection of quality day room environments and accommodations in different locations across London’s large metropolis.
Here are a few choices we think you’ll find particularly spectacular:
The Grange Holborn offers the ultimate experience in London luxury. Find clarity after your flight with all the amenities, including a full fitness center, swimming pool, and spa. Then work with ease from your spacious room or one of the many accommodating business centers around the hotel. Should you choose to explore for part of the day, you’re steps from iconic attractions like the British Museum and Covent Garden, to the always-entrancing Leicester Square. Sounds like a win to us!
Paddington One
Central London’s never felt so accessible than at the Paddington Hotel. Enjoy serviced apartments with kitchen, dining, and living room space while offering easy access to famous London attractions like Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace. The Paddington’s Tube station connectivity allows for easy exploration elsewhere if desired. Of course, a solitary, independent daytime apartment to yourself means plenty of time to relax, nap, prepare for a meeting, get ready for an evening out, or anything else your heart desires!
The Tower Hotel
Nestled between the River Thames and St. Katherine Docks, the Tower Hotel—predictably—offers an amazing view of two London icons: Tower Bridge and Tower of London. Also in the neighborhood is the reconstructed Globe Theatre, the largest collection of urban history projects in the world at the Museum of London, and famous post-Great Fire architecture of St. Paul’s Cathedral. With early check-in and multiple day stay options to choose from, you can’t go wrong with the Tower Hotel.
